TGEN: MindCrowd
Crowdsourcing for a cure.
Leveraging genetics to advance Alzheimer’s research.
MindCrowd is an online crowdsourcing initiative from Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen). By harnessing the Internet to reach people worldwide, researchers hope to find and sign up 1 million participants in its study on how genetics influences memory. Their goal is to gain a better understanding of brain disorders like Alzheimer’s disease.

The Challenge
Research begins with data. And for that they needed participants – 1 million of them. What better way to reach the world than through the internet that connects it.
The Insight
Just 10 minutes of your time could change everything.
The site clearly communicates what the initiative is all about, and encourages visitors to take an active role in helping the cause, which starts with a 10-minute online test.
We invite you to take the test today. Don’t worry it won’t hurt.
